We had a great birthday week for Mandy's 4th. We went to a couple of free movies and out to lunch at Red Robin with some friends. She had an "Under the Sea" party at a local park with a splash pad....the kids loved it!

The girl's brought home flower boxes that they turned into cars and then into beds. They loved them and slept in them for over a week. A lot of evenings we're at home are spent playing out front....and it often doen't take too long before somebody gets wet.

We had a great time with family.....it was hard to see them leave.

The kids had a great time playing on the rock at the Shoshone park.

For Bible School this year we did the AWANA "Kicks for Christ" which is a soccer camp. Emmy loved it, Mandy on the other hand was ready to be done after about five minutes. Jessica was here for part of that time and then Jenny's parents came out to visit and pick her up. We went to Shoshone Falls one day...it was amazing.

The girls wanted to help me mop the floor so I suggested we sing a song while we worked. I suggested "Sing sweet nightengale" from Cinderella and was promptly told "Mom, it's a hard knock life"....

We've been having such a fun spring and summer!

After Chuck E.'s (and a much needed nap), Debbie and Kent (Jenny's boss) went to Red Robin with us to get free birthday burgers. Debbie also made a cake which you can see was greatly enjoyed.

We had lots of fun making the cakes and even more celbrating with friends at Chuck E. Cheese.

Since Emmy's birthday was on a Sunday, we let her open her gifts on Saturday. That was also when the birthday package from Granny and Grandpa arrived.

The specail event on Tyler's birhtday (besides presents) was to have our Collingwood friends over for lunch.

April birthdays

Tyler turned two and Emmy five this past April. Since their birthdays are two days apart, we decided we needed a birthday week where we would do something special everyday. Our first activity was to go to "Pump it up" and play on the inflatable toys...what fun! At Christmas, Tyler was still trying to figure out this present thing, but by his birthday, he knew exactly what to do.
